| I've realized it's been a good while since I've updated. I think since May. If there are people keeping up on my life only from Xanga, they are entirely out of the loop, so here's a quick update of all the shit that has gone down since then.
My mom got diagnosed with cancer I started hanging out with people more (most likely as a distraction) I began to feel emotions again and things that I used to be able to shrug off started bothering me more I started grad school I moved out on my own again I developed intense feelings for someone I shouldn't have feelings for Those feelings were reciprocated Chad and I broke up I entered a relationship with the subject of my intense feelings (also named Chad) I feel like a giddy teenager.
Overall, things are going well. Very well. I should also say that I'm a lot more active on Myspace and Facebook, but I will most likely briefly update Xanga from time to time. You know, like 2-3 times a year...

| I neglect xanga too much. Actually, I never really update anything. I have shut myself off from the world. But I figured a quick update was in order.
I had a meeting with the big guys this week. For those of you who know about my job, you know who the "big guys" are, and how stressed I must have been. But it went as well as possible. They seemed pleased, and I probably have a job through August (my one year contract was up on Tuesday). Not to mention, I now have everyone in our department and then some working for me, so a lot should get done this summer.
In August, I'm starting grad school at BG for experimental psychology (neuroscience). In 4 years, I will be Dr. Deb, and for you Celinians out there, that joke will have to be put to the grave. :)
Speaking of Celinians, I went to Jes's wedding last weekend and it was sweet to see everyone. Except Joe, who couldn't make it. Now he must come visit me when he can drive, because I was thoroughly dissappointed.
Other random notes:
-My car grew up and is now a 2006 Impala LT. Blue, of course. -My apartment now has a music room/study since Chad's brother moved out. It's sweet. We have more guitars than you. -I'm still planning my life around House, the best show ever. (Aside from Scrubs, but I have those on DVD.) -I got Karaoke Revolution for the PS2 (American Idol version) Sounds lame, but it's awesome. Trust me. -I taught the parrot to fetch. He's awesome, as usual, but very, very noisy... -I am apparently "surly". I have yet to make the connection. -I'm trying to play more frisbee golf (frolf, if you will). So come play with me!
*I will add to the random notes section as I feel inclined.

| Swan: Sometimes... the world is black, and tears run from your eyes And maybe we'll all get... really sick. And maybe we'll all die... Soooooooooooooooooooo...
Let's build a snowman. We can make him our best friend. We can name him Tom, we can name him George. We can make him tall, or we can make him not so tall. Snowman!
He'll have a happy face, a happy smile, a happy point of view! If you build me a snowman, then I'll build one for you!
So, let's build a snowman. We can make him our best friend. We can name him Bob, or we can name him Beowulf. We can make him tall, or we can make him not so tall. Snowman!
Hey!
He'll have a happy face, a happy smile, a happy point of view! If you build me a snowman, then I'll build one for you! Snowmaaan! Snowmaaan! Snowmaaan! | | |
| I can't sleep. I'm worried about grad school. So I am taking quizzes and posting them on here until I get tired/distracted enough to fall asleep.
